Rehabilitative Mentoring Program

Youth programs at United Therapeutic Center, Inc. revolve around social services in collaboration with case workers and social workers. These programs take place during the transition period to or from group homes or foster care placements; Youth Rehabilitative Mentoring services are comprised of 2-hour weekly sessions with a counselor. The entire program can run from 3-9 months or until the child/youth has healthily settled into the new home environment with reduced behavioral problems or continuous recovery from mental health issues.

A mentor from United Therapeutic Center, Inc. will coach and train the youth to develop coping skills, social skills and possible pursue vocational training that will prepare him or her for a functional adult life.
